We are a unified political action committee that pools financial contributions on behalf of Texas Tech University Systems and its five universities:

  • Texas Tech University
  • Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center
  • Angelo State University
  • Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso
  • Midwestern State University.

As new obstacles arise, we advocate for the Texas Tech University System, fighting for legislation that will benefit our cause. We cannot do this alone. You, our alumni and donors, are vital to our success.

What is PAC?

PAC stands for “political action committee,” which is a legal entity of like-minded people, companies, or organizations. The group combines monetary resources and facilitates how to effectively support candidates serving in public office who back our causes. PAQs must register with the Texas Ethics Commission and report all financial activities.

What is the mission of the Tech PAC System?

Our mission is to pool financial contributions and leverage our influence to advance the Texas Tech University System and its five universities: Texas Tech University, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Angelo State University, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso, and Midwestern State University.

Why is it important for Texas Tech University System supporters to have a PAC?

The PAC ensures our unique voice is heard in public policy processes. With competition for higher education dollars fiercer than ever, it is vital that Texas Tech University System supporters become involved to ensure Texas Tech’s needs are advocated for among elected officials.

The Texas Tech University System serves the entire state of Texas and beyond. There are currently five member institutions in the Texas Tech University System: Texas Tech University, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Angelo State University, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso, and Midwestern State University.
